Midfielder Kyle Dempsey thinks it will be an important test for Town to play English opposition before the 2017/18 Sky Bet League One campaign.
Dempsey believes that playing some English opposition before the start of the season will be the real test on whether the sides style of play will change this year.
“It’s the first English side we have played and I think it’s going to be a real test to see how different playing the two sides in Austria in the training camp," said the midfielder.
“I think it’s going to be a nice test to see if our style of football this year is going to change against English opponents.
“English opponents are a lot different via the fact of the pressing and the long ball game, as that’s how a lot of people bracket those teams.
“Overall, I think the way we have been playing in pre-season, the way we have been moving the ball, it will be a good test to play a what is now a Championship side and see how far we are actually off.”
