Forward Conor McAleny is delighted with the way Town composed themselves against Bolton Wanderers, and hopes he can carry that form into the season.
McAleny revealed that he is happy with the way Town are playing at the moment and even though it was a different system, they played well.
“We are delighted with the win, the way we are playing,” said Conor.
“I thought we knocked it about really well, with our chances.
“It was a different formation to the one we have been playing but the lads adapted to it really well, so it was all good.”
The forward also said that he enjoyed his first time at Highbury today and hopes that he can perform like that every week.
“I wouldn’t mind doing that every week," said McAleny.
“The fans are really good, it’s my first time here to be fair, I’m just happy to get off to a good start.
“It was a very good team performance and we are coming up to the start of the season against Rotherham so we are well on our way.”
