As Fleetwood Town’s first day of training on their pre-season training camp in Austria comes to an end, forward Wes Burns tells us what the squad have been up to.
The team flew out from Manchester Airport yesterday morning, and went straight to work from there after a bus journey from Munich Airport to Austrian town Kossen.
After travelling, and settling in to the hotel, the players started their initial training session of the camp, which was led by head coach Uwe Rosler.
“First day in Austria completed, it’s been a good first day," said Wes.
“When we got here, we went for a light jog, did a bit of stretching then a pool session, we had a bit of food then and to end the night, we had a bit of entertainment.
“We had Coyley singing a song for us, sang a bit of Ed Sheeran, not the greatest voice in the world but it was alright.
“That was about it for the first day, looking forward to cracking on with the work here this week.”
