Find out everything you need to know about on-loan midfielder

After the news that Fleetwood have signed midfielder Cameron Brannagan on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season, here’s everything you need to know about the 20 year old.

Brannagan came up through the ranks of Liverpool and signed his first professional contract in 2015 after impressing then manager Brendan Rogers before continuing to impress current boss Jurgen Klopp.

Since turning professional in 2015, the highly rated midfielder has made nine appearances for the first team, three in the FA Cup, three in the Premier League, one in the League Cup and two in the Europa League so he is no rookie when it comes to big games.

He stands at 5ft 6inch and is highly regarded as a star for the future by the Reds.

He has represented England twice at Under 18 level.

Cameron made his Liverpool debut in the Europa League group stage match against Bordeaux before making his first start in the League Cup fourth round against Bournemouth.

Liverpool manager Klopp has heaped praise on the youngster who he described as “a real talent who has everything you need from a midfielder.”

Having joined Liverpool at the young age of five he has spent 15 years with the club impressing at every level up to the first team.
