Fleetwood Town will be looking to make it 11 games unbeaten in Sky Bet League One when they travel to face top of the table Sheffield United on Tuesday night (7:45pm).

The Blades – who have picked up one point from two games – currently sit two points clear at the top of Sky Bet League One.

LAST TIME OUT

Uwe Rosler’s side travelled to face bottom side Coventry City. After a frustrating first half with little chances at either end, Ashley Hunter missed a golden opportunity at the start of the second half as Fleetwood pushed for the opener.

Andy Rose hit Alex Cairns’ post half an hour from time, but Town’s patience was rewarded when Cian Bolger headed home Kyle Dempsey’s 89th minute corner to send the Cod Army home with all three points.

The Blades could only manage a 2-2 home draw with struggling Gillingham on Saturday. Billy Sharp had opened the scoring in the first half with a fine low drive, but two second half goals from Josh Wright gave the visitors the lead.

However, the Gills couldn’t hold on as Kieron Freeman levelled the scores with 20 minutes to play.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Top goal scorer and ever present Billy Sharp will be out to add to his impressive tally of 18 league goals this season on Tuesday.

The former Doncaster Rovers, Southampton and Leeds United frontman is key to how the Blades play and is a deadly finisher given the chance in front of goal.

On-loan defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell is not only very solid defensively, but a threat going forward, as Fleetwood found out earlier in the season.

The commanding central defender – who is on loan from Championship side Wolves – denied Town all three points at Highbury in October with a 96th minute winner.
