Town players in action over the weekend
Last weekend saw five Fleetwood Town players in action on loan.
Defender Michael Duckworth started his second game in a row for Sky Bet League Two side Morecambe as they recorded a fine 2-0 home with over Cambridge United.
Nick Haughton came off the bench for Salford City but couldn’t stop them going down 3-2 to Gloucester City in National League North. Matty Urwin returned to former club AFC Fylde and helped AFC Telford United to a very credible 1-1 draw as he, like Duckworth, started his second game for his loan club.
Akil Wright was a 65th minute substitute for AFC Barrow as they came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw with Aldershot. It proved to be a remarkable point for Paul Cox’s side after they ended the game with just nine men.
Elsewhere, Elliot Osborne saw his Stockport County side concede an injury-time equaliser against Alfreton as the spoils were shared with a 1-1 draw.
