Ross Joyce is the referee for Tuesday’s Checkatrade Trophy match against League Two side Chesterfield.
Joyce has officiated 21 matches this season, handing out 89 yellow cards and only one red card.
He was in charge of the reverse fixture last season in the league and this saw Town win 1-0 with Conor McLaughlin scoring the only goal of the game.
The Englishman was last in charge of a Town fixture back April 2017 when the Cod Army drew 0-0 against Port Vale in Sky Bet League One
Joyce refereed Chesterfield’s EFL Cup match away at Sheffield Wednesday back in August, which saw the Owls progress after a 4-1 home win.
Matthew Jones and Matthew Parry will assist Joyce with the Fourth Official being named as Peter Wright.
