Fleetwood Town’s Ash Hunter and Baily Cargill visited Fleetwood High School on Friday afternoon ahead of the game against Wigan Athletic.

The players hosted a question and answer session at the school before handing out match day tickets to the students.

Uwe Rosler’s side travel to the DW Stadium on Saturday in Sky Bet League One, and have tough opponents to face in Paul Cook’s Latics.

Town have invited students from the High School to attend the game with handing out free tickets and coach travel.

Defender Cargill spoke after the community visit, and says he is excited to be part of the match day experience at the weekend.

“It is always great to get out into the community and to see fans in person. We are looking forward to seeing them tomorrow in the ground, and hearing them cheer us on.

“The players want to put on a performance. They’ve been great to me since I joined on loan, and they have been fantastic on the road.

“I hope we can get the three points on Saturday.”
