The match officials for Saturday’s fixture against Bury have been announced.
Dean Whitestone will be the man in the middle for Town’s game against the Shakers this Saturday afternoon at Gigg Lane.
This season, Whitestone has refereed 24 games, with 12 of those being Sky Bet League One fixtures. So far, he has handed out 60 yellow and three red cards. On average, he has given 2.5 yellows and 0.13 red cards per game.
The Englishman has been in charge of one Fleetwood game this year, which was the 4-1 loss to Portsmouth at Fratton Park on 16 September.
Whitestone has officiated two games for Bury this season, the first being their 1-1 draw at Charlton Athletic, followed by their 3-0 loss to Blackburn Rovers in November.
The referee will be assisted by Paul Newhouse and Paul Thompson, with Iain Siddall acting as fourth official.
