With GCSE results day on Thursday, Fleetwood Town FC hope all students collecting their results achieve the grades they wish.
Fleetwood Town FC’s Community Trust still have places available on their 2017-2019 Football Education BTEC programme.
For the past three years Fleetwood Town FC Community Trust have offered local students the opportunity to study and play football after they leave school. Students complete either an Edexcel level 3 or level 2 BTEC in Sport provided by the League Football Education (LFE). It is a two year full time course, where students combine their time between studying for 10-15 hours a week and playing and training on a full time basis. Students complete a minimum of five hours training per week, with weekly football and futsal fixtures every Wednesday against other EFL football teams.
On completion of the course, students will leave with a fully accredited Edexcel BTEC qualification, allowing them to progress onto university, scholarships abroad and even employment with the sports industry. Alongside this we pride ourselves with providing further enrichment qualifications and opportunities such as the FA level 1 Football and Futsal Coaching qualifications and work experience within the football club and community trust.
