A number of Fleetwood Town’s youngsters were in action on Tuesday night for the respective loan clubs.
Young striker Alex Reid joined National League side Wrexham just hours before their game with Gateshead, and marked his debut by coming off the bench to score the winner. Fellow Town player Akil Wright was an unused substitute.
Dion Charles was also in action in the National League, starting for FC Halifax Town in their 2-1 home defeat to Dover Athletic. Charles was withdrawn at half-time.
Goalkeeper Matt Urwin played the full 90 minutes for National League North side Chorley, as they came unstuck 4-1 against Harrogate Town.
Gerard Garner was an unused substitute for Southport in their 3-3 draw with FC United of Manchester.
Dan Mooney played 90 minutes and scored for Bamber Bridge in their emphatic 6-1 win over Goole at the Tom Finney Stadium.
