Defender Cian Bolger thinks that it will be tough for Town as they travel down to Bristol Rovers but will be aiming to get three points.

Bolger – who had three loan spells at Bristol Rovers between the years of 2011 and 2014 - thinks that Town have prepared enough for the game this weekend against Darrell Clarke’s men.

“It’s going to be another tough test, I think every game in this league will be a tough test,” said Bolger.

“I’ve still got some friends down there so it will be nice to see some familiar faces but obviously I’m going down there to do a job and bring back three points.

“It’s going to be a tough test, we’ve done our preparation over the past couple of days and we know what to expect when we go down there.

“It’s going to be a hostile environment but we are confident we can go down there, do our job and come back with three points.”

The 25-year-old, who scored against Rovers at Highbury last season, mentioned that Town are well organised and will make it tough for the home side at Memorial Staidum.

Bolger added: That’s what we are, a very structured team.”

“It’s not just the back five, or the back six with the keeper, I think we are well organised like the manager said.

“I think the team spirit that we have built over the last year, eighteen months, is for me the big thing.

“It comes from the hard work we put in on the training ground and it goes out on the pitch.

“Hopefully we can keep doing more of the same his year and have another successful season.”
