12 months on, see the list of international visitors at Poolfoot
It’s been almost 12 months since Fleetwood Town’s training complex Poolfoot Farm opened its doors, and it’s fair to say the world has seen what it has to offer.
From Australia to Uzbekistan, and Bolivia to India, people from far and wide have been visitors to Poolfoot since Sir Alex Ferguson opened the complex last year.
The visitors took advantage of two FIFA Quality Pro standard 3G pitches, with Poolfoot Farm hosting training camps, goalkeeper sessions and fitness sessions in our state of the art gym and fitness facilities.
Chief Executive Steve Curwood added: “The amount of visitors we receive each month from around the world is incredible, it goes to show what a fantastic facility we have here at Poolfoot.
“For Fleetwood Town it is a fantastic way to spread the word about our club, and gain valuable information about the way football works around the world.
“What is just as important to us is the trade it brings to the whole of the Fylde coast, in terms of secondary spend in shops, restaurants and hotels in the area.
“We hope to continue to welcome people from all over the globe, it’s a hugely exciting time for Fleetwood Town and the whole of the area.”
