Club support campaign
At Monday's game against Millwall, Fleetwood Town were proud to show their support for the Kick It Out campaign.
Kick It Out work throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and campaign for positive change, the organisation is funded by The Football Association (FA), the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA), the Premier League and The English Football League (EFL).
Kick It Out is primarily a campaigning organisation which enables, facilitates and works with the football authorities, professional clubs, players, fans and communities to tackle all forms of discrimination. The campaign has been pivotal in persuading and supporting the game’s stakeholders to take their equality responsibilities seriously.
Both Fleetwood, Millwall and the officials showed their support by wearing t-shirts in support of the Kick It Out campaign during the warm up before the start of the game. Fleetwood Town are proud to support the vision, aims and objectives the campaign sets out. The club strongly believes in the importance their message of equality in all shapes and forms has on the general public and strives towards the goal of eradicating all forms of discrimination within football.
