Read the all you need to know guide ahead of the Sky Bet League One clash with Rochdale

Fleetwood Town will be hoping to build on a good start to the season when the travel to face Rochdale on Saturday. Dale sit at the foot of the Sky Bet League One table after seven matches, but are

unbeaten in their last two matches in all competitions.

Last time out

Uwe Rosler’s side let twice but could only come away with a point against Charlton Athletic at Highbury last Saturday. Two stunning goals from strikers Chris Long and David Ball were cancelled out by Josh Magennis, before a late strike from Lee Novak saw the Londoners return to the capital with a share of the spoils.

Like Fleetwood, Rochdale also let twice in their match against Bristol Rovers and also drew 2-2. Callum Camps’ first half strike was cancelled out by Matty Taylor before Ian Henderson regained Dale’s lead in a spell which saw three goals in five minutes. Taylor then grabbed his second early in the second period before Niall Canavan saw red for the visitors. Keith Hill’s side hung on to gain a hard earned point at the Memorial Ground.

Ones to watch

Peter Vincenti joined Rochdale in July 2013 and has been a key performer for Keith Hill’s side ever since. The 30 year-old, who signed from Aldershot, had his breakthrough season in 2014/15 where he scored 14 goals to help Dale to their best ever finish in the league along with getting to the fourth round of the FA Cup. Vincenti has also represented Jersey in his career, as well as other clubs such as Stevenage and Millwall.

Joe Raffertyhas made over 125 appearances at Spotland since joining the Club from Liverpool in July 2012. The right-back was the captain of the Reds’ under 18 academy team before just failing to make the grade in the first team set up at Anfield. The 22 year-old actually made his Rochdale debut against the Cod Army as a substitute in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in the 2012/13 season.
