Rosler's reaction to United draw...

Uwe Rosler says he feels ‘unfortunate’ after an injury time goal denied his side three points in a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United.

Town were seconds away from a first league win since the first weekend in September but an Ethan Ebanks-Landell header cancelled out David Ball’s opener.

“We were 20 seconds from getting it over the line,” said Rosler.

“The first half was end-to-end, they had chances then we had chances. The longer the game went you could see that we have had a very tough week.

Rosler was keen to point out his side have had a tough run of fixtures in recent weeks against some of the league’s promotion contenders.

“We played three teams who you would expect to be in the top six (at the end of the season) and I think we was lacking a little bit of energy in the end.

“Our whole team put their bodies on the line and defended for everything they had and our goalkeeper had a great day.

“We even had another chance at the end with Ash Hunter to kill the game off but overall I felt very unfortunate.”

The Cod Army are next in action on Tuesday evening against Oldham Athletic in the Checkatrade Trophy at Highbury Stadium (7:45pm kick off).
