Keeper gives his Blades reaction...

Chris Neal says that Fleetwood’s performance against Sheffield United was ‘good’ despite a late goal denying the Cod Army all three points.

David Ball had given Uwe Rosler’s side the lead the break, but a 95th minute header from Ethan Ebanks-Landell snatched away three crucial Sky Bet League One points.

“Obviously we’re disappointed with the manner that we drew, but overall the performance was good,” said Neal.

“We knew Sheffield United were going to come here and make it hard for us. We came in to the game on the back of three defeats and we wanted to get back on the winning trail and climb the table.”

Neal was named Man of the Match at Highbury after a string of saves, most notably from John Fleck deep into the second half.

“With the players they have up top and wide, they (Sheffield United) always going to make it difficult.

“For 94 minutes we defending the box really well, but unfortunately that is how it is. We’ve stopped the rot of the three defeats and we move on from there.

“The most disappointing thing is that it’s not the first time it’s happened this year. If want to push for promotion and push for the top six or the top seven, we need to cut out and we need to do that soon.”
