Important notice ahead of Southport replay

Fleetwood Town Football Club would like to remind fans that flares, smoke bombs and pyrotechnics are illegal and prohibited.

Any individual who is found taking these items to Highbury Stadium or any other stadium may face prosecution and a banning order.

The use of such devices breaches ground safety regulations and poses serious risk of injury to fellow fans.

Although there has been a decrease in the use of these illegal items, incidents during last week’s Emirates FA Cup First Round Clash at Southport resulted in delays to the game.

Due to this incident our safety staff will be searching supporters entering the stadium on Tuesday night and anyone found in possession of pyrotechnics will be denied access, face a banning order and passed onto the police.

The club would like to remind supporters of the serious consequences they may face surrounding the use of pyrotechnics.

Thank you for your continued support in keeping Highbury Stadium a safe and welcoming environment for all fans.
