Ref to make EFL debut at Vale Park
Referee John Brooks will take charge of Saturday’s clash with Port Vale.
He took charge of the FA Cup clash between Merstham and Oxford United last weekend.
The Leicestershire official is officiating his first season in the Football League having previously only taken charge of National League games or below. It’ll be the first time he has ever been in the middle for a Fleetwood Town game.
In his 18 games in all competitions this season, he has shown 67 yellow cards and four red cards.
Mr Brooks will be assisted by Michael Denton and Brian Durie. The fourth official is Andy Hendley.
