Town trio out on loan at non-league clubs…

Three of our up-and-coming starlets are currently out on loan at non-league teams. Here we take a look at how they got on last weekend…

Nick Haughton scored his first goal for Salford City in their 3-0 win over Worcester City in National League North. Haughton smashed home a low drive from inside the area just 11 minutes into the game to give his side the lead. The Ammies made it four unbeaten in the league to move up to seventh, just a point outside the playoff positions.

Akil Wright was a 79th minute substitute for Barrow in their 2-1 National League win over Solihull Moors. The Bluebirds extended their unbeaten run in the league to a club record 15 games, breaking the old record which stood from the 1984 season.

Nathan Sheronplayed the full 90 minutes for Chorley FC in their emphatic 4-1 over Gloucester City to see them climb to second in the National League North. Sheron has now featured twice for Matt Jansen’s side as they look for promotion into the National League.
