Town trio out on loan at non-league clubs...

Three of our up-and-coming starlets are out on loan at non-league teams. Here we take a look at how they and their clubs got on last weekend.

Nathan Sheron played the full match for Chorley as they won 2-0 at Gainsborough Trinity in the National League North. Sheron arrived at Fleetwood in the summer of 2016 from Liverpool and has joined the Magpies on an initial 28 day loan. Matt Jansen’s side are currently flying high in third place in the sixth tier of English football.

Nick Haughton featured for 62 minutes in Salford City’s 2-0 triumph at Altrincham. The 22 year old midfielder played against the Ammies in a pre-season friendly and made his first start for the club at Moss Lane on Saturday. The win took Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley’s troops up to eighth in the National League North whilst Altrincham remain marooned at the foot of the table.

And finally Akil Wright was an unused substitute as Barrow AFC extended their unbeaten run in the National League to 16 matches. Wright, formerly of Ilkeston, joined Paul Cox’s side in early October. The Bluebirds are currently fifth in the league standings and in Emirates FA Cup action on Tuesday night against Taunton Town.
