Fleetwood Town Fireworks Night a huge success!
Fleetwood Town’s annual Fireworks Night on Sunday evening was a great success with a big crowd enjoying an action packed night of family entertainment, live music and witnessing another thrilling Fireworks display at Highbury Stadium.
Martin Booker, Head of Commercial at the club spoke about the night: “It was a fantastic event at Highbury.
“Every year we refresh the pre-fireworks entertainment and we were delighted with the response and support with a big crowd in attendance.
“I’d like to thank our event partners Smyths Toy Superstores who provided hundreds of children with goodie bags, balloons and some superb raffle prizes too. It was also great to bring along Big Foot Events who introduced the crowd to a T-Rex dinosaur which really enhanced the experience along with all our other event partners and entertainers on the night. The fireworks display was superb yet again by MDL Fireworks. ”
Bouncing About, Face It Face painters, the Sandcastle Waterpark and corporate sponsors AGC Chemicals supported the event with activities and entertainers.
The ‘It’s a knockout style’ race put together by members of the club’s community programme saw a number of mascots and Kids TV characters provided by Smyths Toy Superstores challenge Captain Cod, but our very own mascot was the winner – again!
That was followed by a live music set from Fylde coast based band Higher Ground which entertained the crowd prior to the finale.
A big thanks to MDL Fireworks who once again put on a superb fireworks display.
