Wayne will be representing the Cod Army in Europe in June
Fleetwood Town’s first team squad recently raised £410 for Wayne Hayhurst who is cycling from London to Amsterdam for Prostate Cancer next month.Wayne was invited to the Club’s training ground at Poolfoot Farm to pose with the players and management staff before his journey to Holland.
The money raised by the players helped Wayne to beat his initial target of £1,000, as support continues to come in for him from the Club’s fans.
Wayne, along with representatives from other clubs, will be riding Europe on 3-5 June 2016 in what is a 145 mile cycle in conjunction with The Football League.
