Cambridgeshire-based referee Kevin Wright has been appointed as the match official for Fleetwood Town’s Sky Bet League One game against Barnsley at Highbury on Saturday afternoon.

In his 29 fixtures so far this season, Wright has brandished 91 yellow cards, along with five red ones.

He has taken charge of Fleetwood twice this season, the last of which came on Saturday 30th January when Steven Pressley’s men were beaten 2-1 away at Bradford City.

Wright last officiated a game on 12th March between Swindon Town and Millwall at the County Ground, a fixture which ended 2-2.

Matthew Bristow and Barry Gordon will run the line, while Thomas Kirk is the fourth official.
