All the key information for Saturday's game at the Pirelli Stadium

Fleetwood Town travel to Sky Bet League One table-toppers Burton Albion on Saturday afternoon aiming to do the double over the Brewers at the Pirelli Stadium.

The Cod Army head to Staffordshire unbeaten in their last three encounters, and had victory snatched away from their grasp in added time on home soil last Saturday as they had to settle for a point against Sheffield United.

The Blades netted first on the half-hour courtesy of Matt Done, but two headed efforts either side of the interval from Ashley Hunter and Marcus Nilsson turned the game on its head.

Nick Haughton was sent off for Town for two bookable offences, with Che Adams diverting a penalty in the dying embers after Flynn was felled.

Nigel Clough’s Burton succumbed to a 2-0 defeat away to Bradford City on Tuesday night, Kyel Reid and Reece Burke netting the goals which proved decisive at Valley Parade.

Team News:

Nathan Pond and Conor McLaughlin are both close to returning against the Brewers following their respective injuries.

Haughton is suspended following his red card against the Blades, while Antoni Sarcevic and Danny Andrew will miss out.

A native of Huddersfield, Akins began his career at his hometown club, as he graduated from the academy at the John Smith’s Stadium in the summer of 2007.

Akins made five appearances whilst on the books of the Terriers, spending a loan spell at Northwich Victoria.

In July 2008, Akins moved to the then newly promoted SPL side Hamilton Academical, signing on at New Douglas Park on a free-transfer after impressing on trial.

During his time in Scotland, Akins had a brief stay at Partick Thistle, with a return to England confirmed with a move to Tranmere Rovers in 2010.

Akins appeared 77 times in two-years at Prenton Park, and spent a further two-years at Stevenage, before linking up at Burton in 2014.

Since his move to Staffordshire, Akins has helped the side to promotion to the third-tier, with Clough’s outfit on course for another this term.
