Kavanagh to officiate Town for third time on Tuesday night

Christopher Kavanagh has been appointed as the man in the middle for Fleetwood Town’s home game with Walsall on Tuesday evening.

The Lancashire based official will oversee Town for the third time this season, having previously refereed the 4-0 victory against Colchester United at Highbury in August, as well as November’s JPT win over Sheffield United.

Kavanagh has brandished a total of 87 yellow cards, along with one solitary red one in his 25 fixtures to date this season.

The last match he refereed was Rotherham United’s 1-0 triumph away to Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday 5th March.

He will be assisted by Nicholas Barnard and Steven Copeland, while Michael Denton is the fourth official.
