Fleetwood Town Football Club will be travelling to the Netherlands this summer as part of their pre-season tour, and will be based in the village of Doorwerth.

Steven Pressley’s side will spend six days out on the continent from Sunday 17th to Saturday 23rd July, and have already confirmed two fixtures against competitive opposition.

The first match will take place against Fortuna Sittard, which will be played at their home stadium, on Tuesday 19th July at 7pm, while the second will see the Cod Army face Roda JC Kerkrade, in the town of Groesbeck, at the neutral stadium of third tier side, De Treffers, on Saturday 23rd July at 1pm.

The third fixture, likely to be Wednesday 20th or Thursday 21st is yet to be confirmed, however the Club are in talks with a high-profile side who will offer Pressley’s outfit a stern test.

More news and information regarding the trip will be posted on the Club’s official website and social media channels in due course.
