Striker made his return against Doncaster at the weekend

David Henen is hoping Town’s home form continues against high-flying Walsall when the sides meet on the Fylde Coast on Tuesday night.

Henen returned to Highbury on Friday and started in his first game back against Doncaster Rovers last Saturday afternoon.

The man on-loan from Everton is happy to be given an opportunity with the Cod Army, and wants to repay the faith shown in him by Steven Pressley.

He said: “It’s another tough game for us on Tuesday. We have to make sure we play well because Walsall are towards the top of the league.

“I felt a little tired after the game on Saturday so it was difficult coming back after being out injured for four weeks.

“I felt good with the ball and thought I did well, but I wasn’t 100% in my quality and wanted to make sure I was fit for Tuesday’s game.

“We play very good at home and have done well against the top teams. If we play in the way we can then we’ll see what happens.

“It’s very good that we have a number of games over the next few weeks. I’ve been out of action recently so need to play as much as I can.

“Playing games is good for my development and I want to be able to play well for the Fleetwood supporters and score goals.”
