Cole's first interview as a Fleetwood Town player
Striker Devante Cole told the Club website he is absolutely buzzing to be joining Fleetwood Town from Bradford City.The 20-year-old joined the Cod Army on Friday and he insisted he is hoping to score goals and help fire Fleetwood Town up the League One table.
Cole said: “I am buzzing to be here. I have had a good look around the place and I can’t wait to get started.
“The training ground is top class and I can’t wait to start playing for Fleetwood Town FC.
“I am quick and direct. I want to get the ball on the floor and run at the opposition defence.
“I played in League One for the first time last season for Barnsley and I have also played for MK Dons and Bradford City. I want to score goals for Fleetwood Town now and help the team climb the league.
“I have played at Highbury Stadium three times before and I have always enjoyed it, the pitch is great. There are a lot of games coming up in quick succession so hopefully I can’t wait to start playing football.
“I will hopefully provide something a bit different than the other strikers at the Club. I am looking forward to the next chapter of my career.”
