All the match details ahead of Tuesday's game

Fleetwood Town are back at Highbury on Tuesday evening for a Sky Bet League One fixture against Justin Edinburgh’s Gillingham.

The Cod Army will be hoping to continue their recent run of good form, following on from the 2-1 victory they picked up against Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first half, Fleetwood edged in front after 56 minutes when Wes Burns glanced beyond Reice Charles-Cook, after connecting with Ash Hunter’s superb pinpoint cross.

Marcus Tudgay equalised for Coventry shortly after as he profited from Adam Armstrong’s neat cut-back to draw the hosts on level terms.

But with just seven minutes remaining, David Ball rifled in the winner from 20 yards meaning it was a fruitful return to the East Midlands for manager Steven Pressley.

Meanwhile, Gillingham lost ground on second placed Wigan Athletic, after losing 2-1 against Chesterfield at Priestfield Stadium on Saturday.

Strikes in the latter stages of the opening half from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Lee Novak sent the Derbyshire outfit on their way, with the Gills responding through Emmanuel Osadebe’s solitary effort.

Team News:

Nathan Pond remains on the treatment table as he recovers from a thigh injury that he picked up against Shrewsbury Town last month.

Tyler Forbes, Stephen Jordan and Conor McLaughlin all remain doubtful for the visit of Edinburgh’s men.

Gillingham’s top scorer Bradley Dack limped off just after the half-hour mark, with a suspected hamstring injury.

One to watch:

In the expected absence of midfielder Bradley Dack, the Gills will look towards Dominic Samuel to deliver the goods when they make the trip to the Fylde Coast.

The 21-year-old Londoner is currently on loan in Kent from Championship side Reading, having started his career within the youth team set-up at his parent club.

Samuel has been sent on a series of loans to further his development, turning out for Colchester United, Dagenham and Redbridge and Coventry, before signing a short-term deal at Gillingham in January where he has six goals to his
name.
