Support a fantastic local charity

Fleetwood Town FC are supporting local charity Fishermen's Mission with a charity dinner on Friday 26th February, 7.30pm start in the Parkside Suite.

The Fishermen’s Mission is the only fishermen’s charity that provides emergency support alongside practical, financial, spiritual and emotional care. They help all fishermen, active or retired, and their families.

George Ayoma, superintendent of the charity, is also the Club Chaplain for Fleetwood Town.

He said: "Fleetwood is a very unique place because of its families and its close community aspect, specifically in terms of its fishing background. I am delighted the Club are supporting me with this event. It’s the first time we have done anything on this scale and the commercial team at Fleetwood Town have offered some fantastic help in organising and promoting the event to the local community.

"I hope the people of the town associated with the fishing industry and local business people can support the event. If it’s successful we hope this can become an annual event for the charity."

A delicious three course menu has been prepared by Twelve Restaurant and live music will be from Fleetwood based band Monkberry.

Tickets are £27.50 for individuals with tables of ten just £250.

A raffle and auction will also take place to raise further funds from the event. Proceeds from ticket sales, raffle and auction goes to the charity.

To book, please call 01253 775080 option 2.
