Preston North End and Tranmere Rovers are the opponents
Fleetwood Town’s development squad and youth team are both in action this week as they face Preston North End and Tranmere Rovers respectively.Barry Nicholson’s squad play host to North End at Poolfoot Farm at 12.30pm on Tuesday, with a number of players aiming to push themselves into Steven Pressley’s first team plans.
Meanwhile, Nathan Rooney takes his youth team to Birkenhead on Wednesday afternoon for a North West Youth Alliance clash at 1pm.
The young Cod Army were beaten 2-0 away at Bury on Saturday morning, so will be aiming to bounce back against Rovers.
