Town midfielder hails boss prior to Shrewsbury tie
Bobby Grant has praised Head Coach Uwe Rosler ahead of Tuesday night’s Emirates FA Cup Second Round replay with Shrewsbury Town.
Grant scored Town’s crucial second goal on Saturday at Walsall to maintain his side’s strong form in the league, but is hoping to reach the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
“I have to give massive credit to the manager,” added Grant.
“Since he came through the door the standards have gone through the roof on the training pitch and the pitch on a Saturday.
“We enjoy training and there's a lot of energy through the team. You can see that by the results and it's no coincidence that we have scored every game.
“We are playing with confidence, everyone knowing their job. The gaffer's made it clear if we aren't doing our job we won't play.”
“It's important that I continue working hard for the team and getting into the positions the manager wants me to.”
Grant is also keen to give the Fleetwood fans a good trip in the Third Round, should they qualify by beating Paul Hurst’s side.
“We have got a massive tie at Bristol City to play for,” said Grant.
“By winning, we can give our fans something to look forward to. We can beat anyone here on our day. We know we didn't perform at Shrewsbury in the way we have in previous games and against them at Highbury in the league.”
