Left-back spoke to the media after 0-0 draw on Boxing Day
Amari’i Bell praised his side for ‘digging deep’ after Fleetwood had to settle for a point against Bury on Boxing Day.
Town dominated the second half but were unable to get the goal they needed, meaning the match finished goalless.
“A point isn’t too bad,” said Bell.
“It’s always nice to get a clean sheet but on the other hand we’re a little bit disappointed because we’ve been doing quite well this season.
“They (Bury) did quite well today at containing our attacks. But we weren’t at the races and could have done a lot better as we didn’t play at the best of ability.
“As I said, we don’t want to be too disheartened because we will just go again in the next game against Oldham.”
Bell also praised Head Coach Uwe Rosler after Town stretched their unbeaten run to nine games in all competitions after the draw.
“Before the manager arrived, we might have lost a game like this, but we dug deep and stayed in the game. It wasn’t to be our day.
