Sheffield United man joins Cod Army
Fleetwood Town can confirm the signing of Sheffield United's Martyn Woolford.The 30-year-old midfielder brings a host of experience to Highbury having made more than 300 appearances for the likes of Scunthorpe, Millwall and Bristol City.
He arrives on a one-year contract after a deal was struck with fellow League One side Sheffield United.
On the deal, Town Technical Director, Gretar Steinsson said: "Martyn is a player who will bring experience, versatility and quality to our squad.
"Not only will he make a big impact in our team, we feel his experience will also be crucial in helping the talented youngster we also have at the club.
"He's a player we've been tracking for a while and we are delighted to welcome him to Fleetwood Town."
