Hundreds of fans visit Poolfoot for interactive event

Hundreds of Fleetwood Town fans flocked to Poolfoot Farm today to watch the first team train and meet the players.

The club held an open training session in the afternoon as the supporters got their first glimpse of new Head Coach Uwe Rosler's preparations ahead of the new season.

Fans then got the chance to meet their heroes in a signing session in Crossbar & Grill and have at their pictures taken with the players.

There was also a free prize draw on the day with a signed FTFC Shirt, a signed Fleetwood Town football and a family ticket for two adults and two children to the Scunthorpe game all being won.

Town midfielder Ricardo Kip enjoyed the event and said: "These kind of days are always lovely, the kids are excited to see the players of the club.

"They enjoyed it, so it is nice to see that.

"You see the children loving meeting their heroes, the guys that they support.

"It is great to give something back to the fans who cheer us on every week, we really appreciate it."
