Town can stretch their unbeaten run on Saturday

Fleetwood Town have been made favourites by Sky Bet to win Saturday’s crunch game against Oldham Athletic on the Fylde Coast.

Town are 5/4 to win the game and will head into it in confident mood after extending their unbeaten run to four games at Southend United last Saturday.

Bobby Grant had given the visitors the lead with an unbelievable 30 yard strike at Roots Hall, before goals from Adam Barrett and Jack Payne begged them back.

However, Conor McLaughlin earned his side a deserved point in the 90th minute as headed home Amari’i Bell’s perfect cross at the back post.

The Latics were beaten 2-1 by Barnsley at Oakwell in midweek, as Sam Winnall’s brace kept the Tykes’ Play-Off hopes alive.

Defeat in South Yorkshire meant John Sheridan’s side stayed a place above the Cod Army in 18th, however Steven Pressley’s men will overtake them with a victory on Saturday.

Town were victorious in their last game at Highbury as they beat Peterborough United 2-0, and can be backed at 9/1 for a repeat scoreline.

A 3-0 win for Pressley’s side is available at 20/1, while a narrower margin of victory of 1-0 can be had at 11/2.

Athletic have been priced at 9/4 to return to winning ways at Fleetwood, with a draw available at 11/5.
