The young Cod Army were 2-0 winnersYouth team manager Nathan Rooney was really pleased with the work rate and endeavour his side showed against Wrexham at the weekend to come away with a well earned 2-0 victory.
Rooney praised all of the players for working to their maximum and gave a special mention to Dan Mooney who led the line with an excellent mind set to press and run for the whole game.
The game was an end to end affair which had lots on offer throughout. Both teams created chances but Town looked more together as a collective unit out of possession.
Rooney also sang the praises of some of the under 16s who played a big part in the fixture by showing an excellent attitude throughout.
The youth team are back in action on the 16th April when they take on Blackpool at home.
