Cod Army beat the Lions 2-1 at Highbury in November

Nathan Pond believes Millwall will be a different side to the one that visited Highbury earlier in the season when the two teams meet at The Den on Tuesday.

The Cod Army were deserved 2-1 winners over the Lions back in November, with goals from Eggert Jonsson and Bobby Grant winning the game.

Results for Neil Harris’ men have improved since then, and they now occupy the Play-Off places with only four league fixtures to go.

Pond said: “Millwall are flying high and are in the Play-Off positions at the moment, so we’re expecting a tough game but we need to pick up as many points as we can.

“Our performance against them earlier in the season was probably one of our better ones this year as we dominated the game and deserved to win it.

“They’re somewhat of a different team since then and have been on a good run. They can still sneak into second if they win their games so they’ll be up for it.

“They’ve got a couple of good strikers up front who have scored lots of goals this season, and they’re also very good from set-plays.

“It was quite a physical game at our place in November so I’m expecting the same really. We’re definitely up for it though and are going there to win.

“Confidence is really good right now and the fact we’re five games unbeaten has helped that. We’ve put in some good performances recently.

“We have to take one game at a time and must focus on Millwall first and foremost. We need to make sure we take something from the game.”
