Graham Westley's side make the trip up to the Fylde Coast

Fleetwood Town are back at Highbury Stadium on Tuesday night for a re-arranged Sky Bet League One match at home to Peterborough United.

Steven Pressley’s men currently reside in 20th position in the league table, a point above the bottom four following on from Saturday’s share of the spoils at Swindon Town.

Wes Burns’ sixth minute header initially gave Town an early lead, only for Nicky Ajose to deny FTFC the three points when he levelled in the 68th minute for the Robins at the County Ground.

Graham Westley’s Peterborough side make the trip from London Road to the Fylde Coast in buoyant mood, having dispatched rock-bottom Crewe Alexandra at home on Saturday.

Harry Beautyman netted a first-half brace, prior to Lee Angol sealing maximum points for 14th placed Posh.

Team News

Antoni Sarcevic could be back in the squad after returning to training, while Wes Burns is a doubt after picking up a slight injury.

Shola Ameobi, Bob Harris and Danny Andrew will all miss the game.

One to watch

Marcus Maddison will be hoping to improve on his tally of 11 goals this season when he takes to the field against the Cod Army on Tuesday.

A native of County Durham, the attacking midfielder began his career in the youth set-up at local side Newcastle United.

Brief stays away from the Magpies with Blyth Spartans and Scottish side St Johnstone followed, but Maddison really cut his teeth in senior football with conference side Gateshead when he returned to the North East region in August 2013.

In what would be a fruitful spell at Gateshead in his solitary season at the club, 13 goals in 34 appearances earned him a transfer to Peterborough for £250,000.

Since his move to Posh, the 22-year-old has scored 15 times in 60 appearances.

What’s on?

As usual, fans have the option of several events on offer inside Highbury Stadium prior to the game.

Jim’s Sports Bar, which is open for business from 5.30pm for both Fleetwood and Posh fans, will be serving refreshing pints which will be just £2 during the Happy Hour.

If you fancy a bite to eat before the match, then Red and Whites Café is the place for you! Serving home-made dishes.

Tickets for the Fleetwood Town lottery, 50/50, will be on sale. It costs just £1 to enter and you could win a handsome cash prize!
