Programme is aimed at keeping local people fit and healthy
Fleetwood Town’s Community Trust have won the contract to deliver the Wyre Council Trysport programme which is a new initiative aimed at young people aged 7-24.Offering a range different community sports, the programme covers the whole of Wyre, including Fleetwood, Thornton and Preesall.
The programme is managed by Community Sport co-ordinator Mike Lee, and is aimed at keeping the Fylde Coast’s young people fit and healthy.
Mike said: “Fleetwood Town’s Community Trust are pleased to start the delivery of our new community sport programme.
“The programme gives us the opportunity to engage and change the lives of young people across the whole of Wyre.
“It has got off to a fantastic start and we are looking forward to working hard in the local community and achieving positive outcomes for young people.”
