Bankes to take charge of Tuesday's game at Highbury

4 April 2016

Fleetwood Town welcome Peterborough to the Fylde Coast

Peter Bankes will take charge of Fleetwood Town for the second time this season whey they play host to Peterborough United on Tuesday night.

The whistle blower was the official when the Cod Army played out a goalless draw against Doncaster Rovers on home soil back in January.

He has been the man in the middle for 33 Football League fixtures so far this campaign, with his latest being Brentford’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Bankes has dished out a total of 131 yellow cards and four reds so far this season, and is yet to referee a Peterborough game during 2015/16.

He will be assisted by Tom Nield and Billy Khatib for the visit of Posh, while the fourth official has been named as Gary Hilton.
