Coote last officiated Wigan Athletic vs Crewe
David Coote has been appointed as the referee for this weekend’s home clash against Bradford City at Highbury.The Nottinghamshire based whistleblower’s most recent game was Wigan Athletic’s recent victory over Crewe Alexandra at the DW Stadium.
Coote was the man in the middle when Town beat Barnsley at Oakwell last season, as goals from Conor McLaughlin and Liam McAlinden sealed a win in Yorkshire.
He is yet to send a player off this season, but has issued 24 yellow cards in the six games that he has officiated.
Andrew Miller and Darren Strain will assist Coote this weekend, while the fourth official has been named as Nicholas Barnard.
