McLaughlin's Northern Ireland qualify for European Championships

12 October 2015

Declan McManus also appeared for Scotland Under 21

Conor McLaughlin’s Northern Ireland side secured their passage to the 2016 European Championships after a win over Greece at Windsor Park.

Town’s right back has played a major part for Michael O’Neill’s men during qualifying, starting the majority of their games.

He missed the Greek win through suspension, however returned for their final game in Finland when he came off the bench as they drew 1-1.

Elsewhere, striker Declan McManus became the Club’s first ever Under 21 player as he came on as a substitute for Scotland in their games with France and Iceland.
