Club's groundsmen now based at Poolfoot FarmFleetwood Town’s Head Groundsman Dale Frith and his team have moved into their new impressive compound at Poolfoot Farm.
In the next stage of this exciting development at the Club’s new training ground, Frith and his team will be able to work in a first class environment.
With a number of surfaces to maintain at Poolfoot, this new compound will allow the grounds team to work permanently from the complex.
In an interview with the Club website, Frith said: “This building at Poolfoot is the new groundsman’s compound for myself and the team here at Fleetwood town.
“It’s our new permanent base really as at Highbury we’ve had a shed there but nowhere permanent to stay as such.
“With the machinery that we need at Poolfoot, it’s a great place for us to be. This is a huge step for us as a grounds team and it’ll help us to function a lot smoother.
“We’ve got a number of new features such as our own self contained compound, a wash down bay, irrigation tanks and areas to park up machinery and vehicles.
“Inside we’ve got a garage area for the storage of equipment and materials, and then in the office we’ve got facilities such as toilets and showers.”
