The Tykes have lost their last four games

Town must travel to Oakwell with a positive mindset on Saturday afternoon according to left back Amari’i Bell.

Bell has started the majority of the Cod Army’s fixtures so far this season, and has caught the eye with his blistering pace.

Steven Pressley’s men will want to put the disappointment of Tuesday night’s defeat at Sheffield United behind them when they take on the Tykes.

Bell said: “The result on Tuesday night wasn’t great against Sheffield United. We need to go to Barnsley now with a positive attitude and do everything right.

“Every game in this league is tough to be fair and Saturday will be no different, but we need to go there with the correct mentality.

“As a team we need to be a little better when we’re attacking, and when we do that I think we’ll start scoring a few more goals.

“The new manager has made a huge impression on me. He’s helped me in terms of my game defensively and tactically.

“I’m happy that I’m getting lots of games because that’s what I came here to do. I feel that I need to give more though.

“I believe that I’ve got the ability to do that as well so hopefully I can start to do that in the games to come over the next few weeks.”
