Henen and Fosu have both arrived at Highbury

Steven Pressley believes new signings David Henen and Tariqe Fosu will offer his side more of an attacking threat after their arrivals at Highbury.

Henen joins the Club on a one-month loan deal from Premier League side Everton, while Fosu teams up from Reading until January.

Pressley admits that both players have huge potential, and is hoping their loan deals on the Fylde Coast can be successful ones.

He said: “David is a player we’ve been monitoring for some time. I saw him play on a number of occasions last year for Everton’s development group.

“He was a really exciting attacking player but I think Everton were looking to just bed him in because he’d only just arrived.

“They wanted to develop him both physically and mentally so he could adapt to the English game, but they feel the time is right for him to come on loan now.

“It’s a really good business for us even though it is only for a short period of time. It allows both parties to assess each other.

“Playing first team football will be different for him as it’s only his first time out on loan. We’ve brought him in the hope he can offer us creativity in the final third.

“Tariqe a player that can carry the ball and has great speed who can turn defence into attack and can eliminate players.

“We need that type of player in the group just now. He’s played several times for Reading which shows that they rate him highly.”
