Defender is on loan from Premier League side Leicester CityFleetwood Town have extended the loan of defender Joe Davis from Premier League side Leicester City until Tuesday 1st December.
Manager Steven Pressley said: “I am delighted Joe has extended his stay. He has not featured too often so far but when he has, he has equipped himself extremely well.
“Joe has settled into the group and he has enjoyed his time at the Club so far. Continuity at this moment in time is vitally important.
“He provides competition in the right back area and the right centre back area so it is the right thing to do at the right time.
“We are a little bit short on the ground in certain areas of the pitch. We are working on recruiting players but we need to make sure we don’t go ahead and rush on any of these matters.
“It is important at this moment in time that we have continuity and stability within the group and several additions to that will help us.
“That is what I intend to do. Joe has been at the Club for a month and he hasn’t played as much football as he would have liked.
“The one thing he said to us that he is determined to prove himself and that is the type of player that we want.
“We want someone that is willing to work hard, apply themselves and try and find a way into the team. I was very transparent with him that he is not guaranteed that he will be playing but he accepted the challenge and I like that.
“We thank Leicester City for allowing Joe to stay with us. We hope that we can help in his progression.”
