Winger will remain at Highbury until January

Tariqe Fosu admitted a loan move away from Reading was the best option for him after he signed a deal with Town until January this afternoon.

The young midfielder has been with the Royals for six seasons and progressed through their youth system.

He becomes the second capture of the day for Steven Pressley after David Henan put pen to paper on a loan move from Everton.

Fosu said: “I’m delighted to be here as it seems like a good set-up. I just want to kick on now and play as many games as possible.

“I’ve been at Reading for about six years and it’s good to get out and get some experience elsewhere.

“This place seems like a decent club who play some decent football as well, so I’m sure I’ll enjoy my time here.

“I’m quite a skilful player who likes to excite the supporters and get them off their seats. I want to do that here.

“I want to be able to create some goals as well as score some while I’m here and help the team to win games.”
