Pond, Andrew, Forbes, Proctor and Sarcevic make the visit

Fleetwood Town skipper Nathan Pond was accompanied by Tyler Forbes, Antoni Sarcevic, Danny Andrew and Jamie Proctor to a football session at Hambleton Primary School.

The five Cod Army players interacted with the school children and even had a game of football in the school’s sports hall.

Defender Andrew, who has recently returned to full fitness following injury, told the Club website that the players love these types of visit and putting a smile on the children’s faces.

He said: “It is great to be able to put a smile on all of the kids’ faces. It is a great feeling to see them all laughing and smiling when we played football with them.

“It is good that we are visiting schools all around the area. Hambleton is not far away from Fleetwood but it is good to get around and see different people.

“All the lads want to get involved with community appearances and it is great that we can help spread the Fleetwood Town name.”
